Deutsches Glossar Buddhistischer Fachbegriffe
Dieses Glossar enthält bislang nur einen Teil der Fachbegriffe, die auf unserer Webseite verwendet werden. Mit weiterem Fortschreiten der Arbeit am Glossar werden wir weitere Begriffe hinzugefügen. Die Definitionen liegen bislang noch nicht in der deutschen Übersetzung vor, wir haben daher in diese Fassung des Glossars die englischen Definitionen aufgenommen.

| Ärger / Wut / Feindseligkeit | anger | Eine störende Wurzelemotion, die auf ein anderes begrenztes Wesen ausgerichtet ist oder auf das eigene Leiden oder auf Situationen die Leiden nach sich ziehen. Die störende Wurzelemotion des Ärgers reagiert ungeduldig auf diese Lebewesen, Leiden oder Situationen und wünscht sich, diese loszuwerden, indem sie diese schädigt, verletzt oder nach ihnen schlägt. Der Ärger basiert darauf, das er die Objekte, auf die er ausgerichtet ist, ihrer Natur nach als unattraktiv und abstoßen betrachtet. | Tib.: khong-khro Skt.: kroddha |

| äußeres Mandala | outer mandala | A round, flat-bottomed bowl, held bottom side up, with three mounds of grain, placed one atop the other on its surface and contained within progressively smaller concentric metal rings, and crowned with an ornamental diadem. It is used as an offering to a spiritual master in request for a teaching, the conferring of a set of vows, and for the conferring of a tantric empowerment. It is also used as an offering of appreciation at the conclusion of these three occasions.
